Jack Albert Hall, Sr., 86, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.
Jack was born in Dallas, Texas, on July 2, 1929, to C.W. and Nellie (Steagall) Hall. He grew up in Dallas and attended Woodrow Wilson High School. On July 13, 2014, he married Anita Lehky and they made their home in Ennis.
He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad on the maintenance crew and was the owner of a Rental Property Management service in Dallas. He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Ennis and the Masonic Lodge in Dallas. He loved being outside, enjoying nature and loved visiting with and talking to people.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Lehky-Hall; sons: Jack Hall, Jr. and wife Wendy, Bradley Hall and wife Cindy, Wade Hall and wife Bobbie, and James Hall and wife Pam; one daughter, Julie Blood; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his second wife, Jennifer Dawson Hall in 2000, sons, Craig Barett and Bill Barett, one grandson and two brothers, C.W. Hall, Sr. and Arch Hall.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. in the Cowboy Church of Ennis on Wednes­day, October 28, 2015.
A Celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, in the Cowboy Church of Ennis with Rev. Michael Howard officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
