Serena Johns, born on June 23, 1953, passed away on October 14, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family.
Serena fought a courageous fight with breast cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was a substance abuse counselor at the Open Door in Ennis.
She is survived by her special friend, Deborah Henderson; Deborah’s two sons, Scooter and Toby Henderson; Patty Laznovsky; one sister-in-law, Sandy Borges; two nieces, Noel and Joy and husband Jeff.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015, at the Comfort Suites conference room at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help cover final expenses.
