Dorothy “Dee” L. Anderson, 88, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Monday, October 12, 2015.
Dorothy was born in Washington, Iowa, on May 30, 1927, to Wallace and Cora (Tschantz) Darnell. She grew up in Washington, Iowa, and attended school there. On January 1, 1949, she married G.L Anderson and they made their home in San Bentio, Texas, and Los Fresno, Texas, until moving to Ennis in 1961.
She worked for Ennis Business Forms for a number of years. She enjoyed spending time with family and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
She is survived by sons: John Anderson and wife, Marty and Drew Anderson and wife, Carol; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and six brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
