Jewell Alice (Miller) Stephens passed away March 14, 2015, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
She was born June 29, 1923, in Sumrall, Mississippi. Jewell married Herbert F. Stephens on June 15, 1949, and they made their home in Alma, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Glenda Lee, grandsons Ted and Matthew Laudon.
She is survived by three sons: Rickey and Rebecca Stephens, Franklin and Cindy Stephens, and Mark Stephens. Two daughters: Judy and Charles Bishop, Kathy and Doug Watson. Grandchildren: Cas Laudon, Andrew Ludwig, Brent Bishop, Sara and Justin Stephens, Eli and Seth Stephens, Sam and Joel Watson; 13 great-grandchildren; family friend and caregiver Juan Martagon.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
