Grace Lucille Gorman, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Ennis, Texas.
Lucille was born in McCollough, County, Texas on January 23, 1924 to R. J. and Zuma (Baird) Turner. She graduated from Lohn High School. On August 9, 1944 she married Ira Glynn Gorman and they lived in Brady, Midland, and finally moved to Bardwell in January of 1967.
She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Ennis. She enjoyed crochet, writing letters, watching the Texas Rangers and reading the Bible.
She is survived by son, Kenneth Gorman and wife, Diane; daughter, Glynda Atchley and husband, Larry; four grandchildren: Penny and Kelly Boston, Jamie and Andy Olson, Larry and Jennifer Atchley and Cody and Mandi Atchley; eight great-grandchildren: Addy, Rylee, Kenna, Ryatt, Paige, Emma, Faith and Grant; and two brothers: Billy Turner and Jerry Turner.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ira on November 11, 2006 and an infant son.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will follow in Elm Branch Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
