Micah Jenkins, 15, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016, in Dallas, Texas.
Micah was born in Ennis, Texas on May 9, 2000, to Greg Jenkins and Mary Nicole Travis. He grew up in Ennis and was a student at Ennis High School. He enjoyed spending time outside with his family. He especially enjoyed time with his brother and sister and the sights and sounds of racing. He enjoyed his light toys, footie pj’s and snuggling on the couch. He loved to smile and his smile was infectious.
He is survived by his father, Greg Jenkins; his mother, Nicole Wooley and husband, Anthony; one brother, Travis Lee Jenkins; his twin sister, Micayla Nicole Jenkins; his grandparents: Ronnie and Mary Travis of Ennis and Dennis and Glenda Jenkins of Richardson; two half-sisters: Kallay Feagins and Kamry Norkyke; step-brother, Logan Wooley; step-sister, Brianna Wooley and a host of extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, R.E. and June Turner.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
A Celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, January 5, 2016, at 2 p.m. in the Rose Hill Cemetery Pavilion in Blooming Grove, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
Donations may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital in memory of Micah.
