Verna Alice Danielson, 97, passed away in Ennis, Texas, on Monday, December 28, 2015.
Alice was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on August 10, 1918, to Fredrick and Frances (Arnold) Forsey. She moved to the United States in 1949, and made her home in South Bend, Indiana. There she raised her two children. She moved to Texas in 1970.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Epworth Class, active in the MAGGS and Chat & Chew. She had a passion for sewing and sewed both commercially and for friends and family.
She will be dearly missed by her children, Joseph Aubert and wife, Christine of Hancock, MA, Jill Collins and husband, Sonny of Ennis, Texas; stepchildren: Tom Danielson and wife, Marilyn, Judy Foster and husband, Wayne; grandsons: Steven Collins, Michael Collins, Robert Collins, Sayyd Aubert, Elias John Aubert, Sherdyl Aubert; step-grandchildren: Chris Danielson, Chad Danielson, Cindy Danielson, Tom Foster, Dylan Sexton and Misty Suppa. She will also be missed by her nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Brian Danielson, five sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Restland Cemetery with Rev. Steve Holston officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donation be made to the First United Methodist Church, Ennis, Texas, or to the charity of your choice.
