Gail Elizabeth McDaniel, 69, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
Gail was born in Ennis, Texas, on June 23, 1946, to William Addison and Genevieve Elizabeth (Thompson) McDaniel. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1964. She went on to receive her associates degree from Navarro College.
She worked for Travelers Insurance and the FBI for thirty-four years as an Internal Research Specialist. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Federal Employees Association. She had a passion for animals and was always rescuing animals. Her family knew her as “Uncle Gail”.
She is survived by one sister, Carrie Jean Kubin and husband, George; three nephews: Bruce, Christopher and Samuel: three nieces; Christi, Abigail and Cynthia; great nieces: Lauren, Alexandria, Taylor, Luci and Grace and one great-great-nephew, Cameron.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Todd Kubin.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Steve Holston officiating under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Ellis County SPCA or the charity of your choice.
