Mr. Burnim passed away Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2015, in Dallas.
Viewing will be held on Monday, Nov. 23 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation/wake services from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 24, in the Teague High School Auditorium, 420 Loop 255, Teague.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Burnim of Cedar Hill, Texas; son, Dr. Mickey L. Burnim and wife, LaVera of Bowie, Maryland; daughters, Dr. Melonee V. Burnim, of Bloomington, Indiana, and Wonda Burnim Hinnant and husband, Milton, of Cedar Hill, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Elnora Huntley of Dallas, and other relatives.
