Martin M. Herrera, 85, of Ennis, passed from this life September 11, 2015, at Leg­end Oaks Care Center. He was born January 2, 1930, in Mexico.

Left to cherish Martin’s memory are 13 children: Juan Herrera, Elvira Herrera (Guadalupe Jiminez), Emma Martinez (Nicholas), Irma Vera (Angel), Sylvia Herrera (Raul Robles), Martin Herrera (Elida), Refugio Herrera (Maria), Socorro Ruiz (Jose), Maria Rico (Gerardo), Jose Herrera (Laura), Clara Herrera (Luis De Vora), Delia Perez (Raul), Isabel Marmolejo (Julio); 40 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2015, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
