Frank William Lacik, Jr., age 90, passed away in Dallas on March 8, 2015. He was born on Nov. 30, 1924, in Ennis, TX to Frank, Sr. and Mary (Patak) Lacik. Frank Jr. was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church of Lancaster, TX. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Dickens. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars of the US Post 581 in Houston, TX, and the American Legion Post 361 in Ennis, TX.
He is survived by five sisters Hattie Brown, Mary Brown, Evelyn Barnes, Jo Ann Majka and Janie Salazar; two brothers Wayne and Johnny Lacik; one niece Janice Hunt; five nephews James, Paul, Robert, and Tom Brown and James Smith. Frank Jr. was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Helen Smith and two nephews.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1537 Rogers Avenue in Lancaster, TX. Interment will be held at a later date at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
