Clik here to view.Shirley T. Craig, 77, passed from this life to her new life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 24, 2014.
Shirley was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas on January 24, 1937 to W. T. and Verna (Ware) Pinson. She grew up in Sulphur Springs and in Dallas. She married Elton A. Craig on January 20, 1956 and they made their home in Dallas then moved to Ennis in 1972.
Shirley worked for Atlas Sound for over thirteen years. She was a member of The Cowboy Church of Ennis. She enjoyed cooking and being with family especially her church family.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Elton A. Craig; one son, Elton Wayne Craig; two grandchildren: Janice Cervantes and Dustin Salsbury; three great-grandchildren: Desmond, Kevin and Emery and one brother, Billy Mac Pinson.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one baby brother, Bobby Glenn Pinson.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life took place on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis with Rev. Michael Howard and Rev. Eddie Ricks officiating. Interment followed in the Rice Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
