Michael Keith Lowry, age 57, passed away at his home in Bardwell on October 3, 2014. He was born on July 20, 1957 on the Mescalero Apache Reservation in New Mexico. Michael was adopted by James E. and Jimmie Ruth Lowry as an infant in 1957.
He grew up in Odessa, Texas and Soda Springs, Idaho before moving to Bardwell in 1985.
He is survived by his mother, Jimmie Ruth Lowry; son, Michael Lowry and wife Kim of Odessa, TX.; grandchildren, Megan and Michael Lowry of Odessa; brothers and sisters, Jimmy Earl and Bryan Lowry, Linda Begley and Laquitta Higgins; aunts, Bonnie Lowry and Jodie Early; uncle, J. B. Lowry, Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael is preceded in death by his father James E. Lowry; grandmother, Estelle Dick.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at Bardwell United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Holston officiating.
Interment will follow at Elm Branch Cemetery in Bardwell.
