Subrina “BeBe” Knight, 44, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in Dallas, Texas.
Subrina was born on May 5, 1970 to Thomas Odell and Jean Elaine (Kubala) Wilson in Corsicana, Texas. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1987. She received her Registered Nurse Degree from Navarro College then went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Texas in Arlington. She married Roger Knight on March 7, 1986 and they made their home in Ennis.
She worked for the Ennis ISD for several years as a PE Aide, Special Education Aide and Bus driver. She worked for the Ennis Regional Medical Center for over thirteen years as a RNA, LVN and RN/BSN. She was a member of the Refiner’s Fire Ministries International of Ennis where she worked with the Children’s Church Ministry. She was a very loving and giving person receiving awards for Foster Parent of the Year and Outstanding Nurse of the Year. She loved her job the people that she worked with and helping those she served in the ER Department. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved being outdoors. Her greatest joy was spending time with the kids.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Knight; son, Weston Knight and wife, Makenze; daughter, Krystle Knight; grandchildren: Jaylon De’Shaune Kidd, Stormy Jane Knight and Summer Rose Knight; her parents, Thomas Odell and Jean Wilson; sisters: Brandy Lassetter and Tisha McElyea; mother-in-law, Martha Knight along with a host of family, friends, co-workers and loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Cord Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
