Mary Dee Davis Pennington Terry, of Terrell, passed away December 9, 2013. She was born in Shamrock, Tx to Charles and Ruthie (Terry) Davis, both of whom preceded her in death. Mary was also preceded in death by her first husband, J R Pennington and second husband, Bob Terry as well as her brother, Emmitt Eugene Davis. There was never a more gracious or generous lady than Mary Dee. She was always putting others needs and happiness before her which was the embodiment of her Christian personality displayed to others. Her hospitality to all she met was exceeded only by her love for her family. She was a devoted wife and mother and her children were her prized possession for the legacy of thoughtfulness that they will continue to carry on. Her home was always open to any and all and her gentle sweet spirit will be remembered by not only her beloved family but by everyone with whom she shared her life. Mary Dee was the epitome of the classy lady and she will be dearly missed. Mary leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Terry Pennington and wife, Becky, of Terrell; Randy Pennington and wife, Eva, of Palmer; grandchildren: Cheryl Duckworth, Chad Pennington, Christina Barker, Michael Rodgers, Tiffany Callaway, Adrienne Elane Pennington Rodgers; great grandchildren: Luke, Levi, Logan, Aidan, Landon, Dalton, Paige, and Brooke; sisters: Ruby Hare and Virginia Lambeth as well as several other nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm, Friday, December 13, 2013 at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Chapel with interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm, Thursday, Dec. 12 at the funeral home.
