Nell Johnson, 87, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Nell was born on August 12, 1926 to Lonnie D. and Eunice (Vassar) Frazier in Bonham, Texas. She grew up in Bonham and attended Bonham High School. On June 18, 1946 she married Joseph A. Johnson and they made their home in Bonham, and then moved to Irving in 1950, to Waxahachie in 1955, to Mesquite in 1969 and after the death of Joseph she moved to Ennis in 1998. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing camping and bowling. She is survived by one son, Joe David Johnson and his wife, Debbie of Mesquite; one daughter, Carolyn Macon and her husband, Mike of Ennis; four grandchildren: Jeff Macon, Justin Macon, Matt Johnson and Lacy Palmer and six great-grandchildren: Dylan Macon, Cole Macon, Hailey, Macon, Drake Macon, Van Palmer and Reid Palmer. She is preceded in death by her parent, her husband Joe A. Johnson on January 22, 1997 and two brothers, Bobby Frazier and Billy Frazier. Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Graveside services were held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Myrtle Cemetery of Ennis with Rev. Chet Hensley officiating under the direction of J.E.
