Tommy Frank Slama, 62, passed away in Corsicana, Texas on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Tommy was born in Ennis, Texas to Tom and Elsie (Slovak) Slama, Jr., on April 3, 1951. He grew up in Ennis and graduated from St. John Catholic High School in 1969. On July 27, 1974 he married Jeanette Bohanon and they made their home in Ennis. He was the owner and operator of Lionbacker’s for over thirty years. He was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and KJT. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. Tommy was a one of a kind person, he was generous and genuine. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Slama; son, Tommy Lee Slama and his wife, Haley of Ennis; daughter, Shelley Guerrero and her husband, Jason of Ennis; two grandchildren: Keira and Hannah; two sisters: Elsie Marak and her husband, Raymond of Ennis and Georgia LaScala of Ennis along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the J.E.
