Margie Patak, age 83, of Ennis passed away on March 31, 2013 in Ennis. She was born on February 3, 1930 in Byrd Rankin, the daughter of Frank and Emma ( Honza) Trpak. She was reared in the Creechville Community. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and the KJZT # 16. On November 15, 1949, she married Adolph F. Patak, Jr. and lived in Ennis as a housewife. Margie is survived by children, Angie Patak, DeAnn Moreno and her husband Sonny, and Edward Patak and his wife Sandra; grandsons, Matthew Patak, Andrew Patak, and William Moreno; one granddaughter, Megan Patak; two great-granddaughters, Aspen Tatro and Addison Baker; two sisters, Emma Patak and Catherine Skrivanek. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Charlene Salmon; and her husband, Adolph F. Patak, Jr. The family received friends from 6 to 8 P.M. with a Rosary at 7 P. M. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Ennis, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, with Father Antonio Ormaza as Celebrant. Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ennis, Texas; with pallbearers: Matthew Patak, Andrew Patak, Dwayne Skrivanek, Darrell Trantham, William Moreno and Ryan Skrivanek. Honorary pallbearers were Laddie Gajdica and Wyatt Skrivanek. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to the Shriners Burns Hospital; 711 7th Street; Galveston, Texas 77550.
