1994878Millie R. Haba, 88, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Millie was born in Scurry, Texas on February 27, 1925 to Jerry and Agnes (Bezdek) Svoboda. She attended school in Kleburg School District. On July 1, 1950 she married Johnny Haba and they made their home in Dallas and then they moved to the farm in Ennis. She worked for Sears for several years. She was a member of the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, SPJST and KJZT #16. She loved to dance especially the Polka’s, cook and garden. She is survived by two sons: Jerry J. Haba and his wife, Yaru and Frankie J. Haba and his wife Joanna; five grandchildren and two sisters: Pauline Jones and Adell Vrzalik. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnny Haba in December of 2004, six brother and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis with Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
