Troy Reschke, 72, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
Troy was born in Kaufman, Texas on December 18, 1944 to Roy Vincent and Una Beatrice (Phillips) Reschke.
He moved to Ennis in 1964 and married Gladis E. (Laza) Knotts and they made their home in Ennis. He worked for many years as a fence installer.
He is survived by sons: James Knotts and wife, Nina and Ronald Knotts; daughter, Cindy Wilson and husband, Danny; brothers: Raymond V. Reschke, Jimmy L. Reschke and Jerry Don Reschke along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roy Vincent and Una Beatrice Reschke,wife, Gladis E. Knotts-Reschke, brothers: William Thomas Reschke, Johnny Lloyd Reschke and Roy Reschke, Jr. along with two sisters; Una May Taylor and Lola Faye Reschke.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Pallbearers will be J.D. Reschke, Jerry L. Reschke, James Steptoe, Nichalos Knotts, David Paul Bearden, Travis Cullom and William Reschke. Interment will follow in Wilson Chapel Cemetery of Kaufman under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
