Jimmy Dwayne Nutt, Jr.

Jimmy Dwayne Nutt, Jr., 54, passed away in Mansfield, Texas, on Monday, October 5, 2015.

Jimmy was born in Pasadena, Texas, on July 30, 1961, to Jimmy D. and Evelina (Cobb) Nutt, Sr. He grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1979. He went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Business Manage­ment from Amberton University. On March 12, 1988, he married Rhonda Allen and they made their home in Greenville, Texas, then to Sla­ton, Texas, for twelve years and bac to Ennis in 2015.

He worked in materials management for Raytheon Aero­space fro over fifteen years and for ATT for seven years be­fore retiring in 2012. He enjoyed hunting, wood working, col­lecting coins and pocket watches.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Nutt; son, Joshua Nutt; daughter, Hana Hunn and husband Kyle; and two brothers, Richard Nutt and Nelson Nutt.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Guy Nutt.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 9, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.

A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Gary Nutt officiating. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery of Marlin, Texas, at 3 p.m. on October 10, 2015, under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Jimmy’s name to the mercuryone.com the Nazarene Fund.
