Clyde Everett Gill

Clyde Everett Gill, 73, passed away at his home in Ennis, Texas on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.
Clyde was born in Fordyce, Arkansas on May 31, 1941 to George Wesley and Nancy Ora (Hearne) Gill. He grew up in Fordyce, Arkansas and Kilgore, Texas and attended schools there. On June 26, 1969 he married Neda F. Spraggins and they made their home in Duncanville before moving to Ennis.
He was the owner of Ennis Muffler, Brake and Tire since 1977. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He was a member of National Street Rod Association and Lone Star Street Rod Association. He enjoyed working on old cars, swap meets and car shows.
He will be remembered by all who knew and loved him especially his family including his wife, Neda Gill; sons: Jeff Gill, Todd Gill, Kevin Gill and Shane Gill; daughter, Vicki Castorena; twelve grandchildren and two sisters: Louise Hubbard and Carrie Stutts.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
A Celebration of his life will take place on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Interment will be on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Oak Ridge Cemetery of Malvern, Arkansas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
