Mary Lou Parker, 87, passed into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 12, 2015, from Fort Worth, Texas.
Mary Lou was born in Bristol, Texas, on May 3, 1927, to Roy Malcolm and Only Maude (Mullican) McNaron. She grew up and attended school in Bristol, Texas. On July 2, 1947, she married J.W. Parker and they made their home in Ennis.
She worked as secretary for Baylor Baptist Church for over twenty-five years and volunteered for the Christian Community Store House in Keller, Texas. She was a charter member of Anthony Drive Baptist Church and member of Baylor Baptist Church of Ennis with her husband. Her family was the light of her life besides her relationship with her Heavenly Father.
Her memory will be carried on by all those who knew her and loved her, especially her family including her daughter, Cindy Davis and husband, Leroy; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She goes home to meet her parents, her husband, J.W. Parker and two brothers.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 15, beginning at 1 p.m. until service time. A Celebration of her life will take place on Thursday, April 16, at 2 p.m., in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with her grandson, Rev. Ronnie Davis officiating. A private interment will take place in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
