Jean Robinson, 84, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Friday, March 27, 2015.
Jean was born in Gunter, Texas on September 14, 1930 to Ben F. and Edith M. (Payne) Pigg. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a degree in English. On July 1, 1951 she married Clifford O. Robinson and they made their home in Fort Worth, Mississippi, Kilgore, Tyler and finally settled in Ennis in 1962.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, Republican Woman of Ennis and Rebekah’s Lodge of Ennis. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and trivia.
She is survived by a son, Randy Robinson and wife, Jeanne; daughters: Rhonda Kay Fahrlender and husband, Richard and Lisa Lyn Morales and husband, Clinton; seven grandchildren: four great-grandchildren and one brother, John Pigg and wife, Dorene along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Clifford O. Robinson.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of her life will take place on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Interment will follow on a later date in the East Greenwood Cemetery of Weatherford, Texas under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be made in Jean’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Boles Children’s Home.
