Randall Lee Wylie, Sr.

Randall Lee Wylie, Sr., 75 of Ennis, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2015, after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born in Ennis, Texas, on March 17, 1939, to J.M. Wylie and Emma B. Davis Wylie.
Randall graduated from Ennis High School in 1957 where he was a star football player and attended Texas Christian University on a football scholarship. He served in the U.S. Army and then spent the majority of his professional career as an executive with Lone Star Steel Company in Dallas, Texas. He married Jane Guyler on Aug. 13, 1960, and they had two children. On May 27, 2000, he married Marylyn Tysdal. After retirement he resumed working for Cinco Pipe and Supply in Houston, Texas. He was a member of the Corsicana Country Club where he enjoyed his favorite hobby, playing golf multiple times a week. He adored his grandchildren and watching their sporting events. He also loved watching old Western’s and James Bond movies.

Survivors include his wife Marylyn Wylie of Ennis, Texas; Brother Charles Wylie and wife Imogene of Flower Mound, Texas; Son Randall L. Wylie, Jr and wife Michelle of Keller, Texas; Daughter Priscilla Brown and husband David of Dallas, Texas; Stepson Ed Tysdal and wife Carol of Ault, Colo.; Stepdaughter Kelli Stadlman and husband Allen of LaPorte, Colo.; Stepdaughter Kalene Sakurada and husband Randy of Fort Collins, Colo.; Grandchildren Ashley Wylie, Hillary Wylie, Amanda Brown, Alicia Brown, Kay Hansen, Nick Snider, James Tysdal, Jon Sakurada, Joe Tysdal, Justin Snider, and Kevin Lucero; Four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents J.M. and Emma B. Wylie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m., at J.E Keever Mortuary Chapel located at 408 North Dallas Street, Ennis, Texas. Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 20, at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church located at 401 East Lampasas, Ennis, Texas. with Father Fred Caldwell as celebrant under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. Pallbearers will be Randall Wylie, Jr., David Brown, Allan Stadlman, Randy Sakurada, Ed Tysdal, Jon Sakurada and Justin Stadleman. Honary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Spellman, Charles Wylie, Frank Willet, Bernie Martinek, Max Worley, Roger Neely and Kevin Lucero.
