Larry Don Little passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at his home in Richardson. He was born Oct. 25, 1952, in Corsicana, Texas, to Wanda and Jimmie Little of Chatfield, Texas. He attended Ennis High School where he played football and graduated in 1971. He went on to earn a degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University in 1975. He loved Texas A&M and was a devoted 12th man who enjoyed cheering his team to victory. Larry always took every available opportunity to let everyone know how proud he was to be an Aggie.
After graduation from college, Larry moved to Richardson in 1975 where he met and married the love of his life, Peggy Brymer, in 1989. Here he welcomed his children, Austin and Julianne, into the world and raised them with a whole-hearted love that demonstrated his tender spirit toward his family. Larry was a man of his word and instilled his principles of honesty, integrity, loyalty and reliability in his children through word and deed as an important part of his legacy.
Larry spent the majority of his career in the professional landscape business in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener and spent each available moment in pursuit of his love for the outdoors. Larry had a passion for sharing his bounty with one and all. He took every possible opportunity to visit and spend time at his family home in Chatfield, which is where his roots always remained.
Larry was a member of the First United Methodist Church Richardson and always remained deep in his faith. He looked forward to meeting his Maker when the time came. His love of God, family, and friends were the hallmark of his life and were clearly evident to all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, Jan. 23, at 3 p.m. for a Memorial Service to celebrate Larry’s life at First United Methodist Church Richardson, 503 N. Central Expressway, Richardson, TX 75080, in the chapel.
Those wishing to make donations in Larry’s memory are invited to bless the Make a Wish Foundation of North Texas by visiting ntx.wish.org.
