Robert L. Corea passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 in Palmer, Texas.
Robert was born on January 6, 1936 in Torrance, California to Harry R. and Mary (Radisich) Corea. He grew up in Paramount, CA and graduated from Compton High School in 1953. He went on to Pierce Agricultural College in Woodland Hills, CA to receive a degree in Agricultural Science. On June 13, 1959 he married Judith Pierceall and they made their home in Gardena, California. He served his country proudly in the United States Army in Korea.
He worked for many years for Ralphs Grocery Company in Compton, CA.
He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Peirceall Corea; daughter, Joy K. Hover and husband, Ed Hover of Ennis; sons: Christopher J. Corea and wife, Rossana of Palmer, Robert P. Corea and wife, Tammy of San Diego CA and Thomas M. Corea of Palmer, daughter-in-law Jennifer Corea of Waxahachie; grandchildren: Jessica Corea, Andrew Corea, Olivia Corea, Amanda Corea, Sydney Rose Hover, Riley Hover, Mary Kate Corea, Lily Corea and Bobby Corea.
Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Catholic Church of Ennis with entombment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
