Michael Allen Jones, 71, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Michael was born on April 18, 1942 to Olen Dee and Edna Mae (Johnson) Jones. Mike grew up and graduated from Yukon High School in 1960. After service in the United States Navy from 1965-1971 he completed his education at the University of Central Oklahoma graduating with a BA in Business in 1979. Mike and Marilyn Sue Hall married in 1962. Mike and Cynthia May Konn married July 16, 1966 and enjoyed forty-six years of love and fellowship until her death November, 2012. Mike and Sue remarried December 28, 2013 making their home in Ennis, Texas. Mike worked for Purina three years as a repair technician before working for AT&T as an engineer retiring in 2001. He was a member and Deacon of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed family, Bible study, bowling and genealogy. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sue Jones of Ennis; sons: Michael Allen Barkdull and wife, Kimberly of Tulsa, OK, Martin Alden Jones and wife, Darcy of Sanger, Texas, Gregory Bryant Jones and wife, Cynthia of Dallas and Corey Mitchell Jones and wife, Julie of Ennis; daughters Suzanne Hailey and husband, Bert of Guthrie, OK and Charlsie Montagne of Sacramento, CA; twenty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Cynthia Jones and all of his siblings. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will take place on Friday, January 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Church of Christ of Ennis with Scott Brazell and Bud Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park of Oklahoma City, OK at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc. www.jekeevermortuary.com
