Robert “Bull” Durham

2377738Robert “Bull” Durham, 51, passed away in Waco, Texas on Thursday, January 9, 2014. Bull was born in Dallas, Texas on August 15, 1962 to Eugene Perry and Melanie (Maynard) Durham. He grew up in Duncanville, Texas and graduated from Duncanville High School in 1981. He married Kim Cochran on September 12, 1986 and they made their home in Ennis before moving to Waxahachie in 2011. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. He owned and operated Durham Electric, Southern Pacific Railroad, and worked for Odom Construction. He was a member of the Episcopal Church, Ennis Little League, Arlington Optimist, and Ennis Softball League Association. He loved sports and coaching children. He loved spending time with his granddaughters and eating oatmeal-raisin cookies with his Grandmamma Mildred. He is survived by his wife, Kim C. Durham; son, Chace Durham; daughters: Brooke Durham and Kristin Burleson and her husband, Brian; two grandchildren: Makenna and Braylee Burleson; his parents: Perry Durham and Melanie Durham; grandmother, Mildred Henry, and one brother, Toby Durham. Memorial services were held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. www.jekeevermortuary.com
