Ryan Wesley Svehlak, 27, passed away in North Dakota on Sunday, August 11, 2013. Ryan was born in Bedford, Texas on August 6, 1986 to Gary and JoAnn (Martinek) Svehlak. He grew up in Mansfield, Texas and graduated from Mansfield High School in 2005. He went on to attend Texas State University. He worked for Schlumberger Company as Operations Supervisor. He loved soccer, fishing, golf and all outdoor activities. He is survived by his father, Gary Svehlak and his wife, Robin; his mother, JoAnn Needham and Brad Jones; brothers: Matthew Svehlak, Trevor Svehlak, Bradley Needham and Montana Jones; his fiancé, Larisa Andreeva of Russia; grandparents: Raymond and Georgia Svehlak and Emil and Margaret Martinek; aunts and uncles: Sandra and Frank Ryan, Jimmy and Linnea Svehlak, Debbie and Jim Hart, David and Michelle Svehlak, Lisa and Paul O’Brien, Ernie and Jennifer Martinek, Jeanne and Marc Clark and James and Brenda Martinek and cousins: Frankie, Kristin, Steven, Katie, Brittany, Blaire, Dalton, Tia, Alena, Dylan, Taylor, Sophie, Emily, Jordan, Hayley, Evan, Leah, Ragen, Cullen, Kyle, Emily, Adam and Brandon. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Father John Dick as celebrant. Pallbearers will be Frank Ryan, Jr., Steven Ryan, Josh Conn, Thomas Abbott, Jordan Schmidt, Shawn Johansen, Evan Martinek and Hunter Dlabaj Interment will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E.
