Billie Bowles, 84, passed away in Italy, Texas on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Billie was born in Ennis, Texas on March 4, 1929 to W.O. and Nell (Vines) Stults. She grew up in Ennis and graduated from Ennis High School in 1947. On July 17, 1954 she married George Bowles and they made their home in Ennis then to Voca in 1985, back to Ennis in 1996 and to Italy in 2011. She loved playing board games, cards, working puzzles and gardening. She is survived by one son, Kevin Bowles of Ferris; one daughter, Carol Horton of Waxahahcie; four grandchildren: Karen Bowles of El Paso, Michael Bowles of Italy, Kristy Bowles of Ennis and Nikki Bowles of Stannett and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Myrtle Cemetery of Ennis with Rev. Johnny Mansell officiating under the direction of J.E.
