Kathryn (Kat) Autrey, age 86, passed away in Ennis on July 14, 2013. She was born on January 5, 1927 in Teague, Texas to James and Bertha Mae (Edwards) Phelps. She is survived by her daughter, Leona Nunn and her husband Michael of Palmer; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild; two sisters, Nell Land of Palmer, Patsy McElhaney and her husband Jimmy of Palmer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Kat is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Cecil Cottongame; second husband, Amos Autrey; daughter, Patsy Kay Cottongame; three sisters and three brothers. The family will receive friends at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the Fundamental Baptist Church in Palmer with the funeral services beginning at 2:00 P.M.
