Emilie “Millie” Patak Trojacek

Emilie “Millie” Patak Trojacek, 90, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Friday, July 5, 2013. Millie was born in Creechville, Texas on July 12, 1922 to Rudolph and Lillian (Nekuza) Patak. She grew up in Creechville. On February 14, 1953 she married Leslie Trojacek and they made their home in Garrett, Texas. She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and KJZT #16. She enjoyed gardening, canning (especially pickles), quilting with her mother, making over thirty quilts over the years and helping out on the family farm. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of over 59 years of marriage, Leslie Trojacek on April 20, 2012 and one brother. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rosary at 6 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church of Ennis with Father John Dick as Celebrant.
