The angels came to greet Brooklynn Rose Zhanel on May 17, 2013 and took her to her Heavenly Home. She is survived by her parents, Brian and Kacie Zhanel; sisters, Gracie and Reese Zhanel; grandparents Kevin (PawPaw) and Karen (MeMe) Slovak and Steve (Pops) and Barbara (MawMaw) Zhanel; great-grandparents, Rosalie (Granny) Wilhoite, Helen (MeeMaw) Slovak, Leslie (Big PaPa) Zhanel and Joe (PamPa) and Helen (Nama) Barak; Uncles and aunts, Kyle Slovak and Leslie Bell, David and Lisa Zhanel, Chad and Cassie Parma, and Chris and Melony Rebuck; cousins, Ava and Mary Zhanel, Christopher Zhanel, Travis, and Ben Parma, and Meagan, Katie and Emily Rebuck. Brooklynn was preceded in death by Lloyd (Papa Lloyd) Wilhoite, Raymond (PeePaw) Slovak, and Wilma (Granny) Zhanel. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M.on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. Rosary will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 with the Mass of Christian Burial following at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, with Father John Dick as Celebrant.
