Clik here to view.Larry Gene Stewart, 73, passed away in Ennis, Texas on Sunday, March 17, 2013. Larry was born in Brashear, Texas on April 1, 1939 to George E. and Mayme Lee (Jennings) Stewart. He grew up in Sulpher Springs and Garland Texas. On September 4, 1959, he married Elizabeth Sullivent. After her death in 1980, he was then married to Jeanette Rae Martin on June 25, 1982. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy from 1957-1959 and then served in the Reserves until 1963. He worked as a long and short haul driver for over thirty years. In his retirement, he travelled across the United States delivering for Casita Travel Trailers. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist church of Ennis and the American Legion. He loved to fish, bird watch and tell tall tales. He is survived by one son, Larry Don Stewart and his wife, Barbara of Royse City; two daughters: Sandra Jean and her husband Adolfo Viguerias of Terrell and Jennifer and her husband, Jason Venable of Ennis and seven grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Elizabeth on December 22, 1980 and wife, Jeanette on February 16, 2008 along with one brother, Thomas. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. A Celebration of his life will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis with Rev. Kenny Cashion officiating.
