Nancy Gail Grissette Deehan, 70, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 in Midlothian, Texas.
Nancy was born in Houston, Texas on May 26, 1946 to Arnold and Bertha Geneva (Miller) Grissette. She grew up in Dallas and Ennis and graduated from Hillcrest High School.
She worked for Texas Instruments, Irving ISD, Cheerleaders Supply Company and McGraw-Hill Publishing. She was a member of Hampton Road Baptist Church.
She enjoyed stamping, ceramics and sign language. Her family and especially her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was kind, compassionate, full of mercy and loved the Lord. She had a big heart and put others before herself.
She is survived by one son, Kevin Deehan; two grandchildren: Gracee and Boston; mother, Bertha Geneva Harbour; brother, James William Harbour and two sisters: Linda Jean Venable and Marilyn Reed. She is preceded in death by her father, Arnold Grissette and her step-father, William “Bill” Searcy Harbour.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis. Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
