Aniyah Grace Sowers, passed peacefully in the arms of her mother with her father by her side on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in Dallas, TX. She was born at 4:40 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 and met the eyes of Jesus at 3:53 a.m. on August 9, 2016
During her 11 hours and 13 minutes here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on as her organs were donated and will be received by someone in need.
Aniyah was the daughter of Corey R. Sowers and Marisela Zuniga.
She is survived by her sister Amari Lillyanah Sowers; half-sisters: Briana Sowers, Dyiamond Sowers, and Skylar Sowers. Her grandparents: Maria and Ronnie Henley, Charlene Sowers Givens and Bill Pierce, and Robert Horton; great-grandparents: Rene and Carmen Pedraza, Beatrice McDaniel, and Maria Gonzalez; uncles: Ian Henley, Phillip Givens, and Joey Givens; aunts: Pashun Horton, Rhonda Horton, and Brandy Horton and several great uncles, aunts and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Raynaldo Zuniga and great-grandfather, Raul Zuniga.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, with a reception following
