Thelma Singleton

Thelma Singleton, 86, passed away in Waxahachie, Texas on Monday, August 8, 2016.
Thelma was born in Ennis, Texas on September 24, 1929 to Leonard and Beaulah (Hill) Walker. She grew up in Ennis and attended Ennis High School. On June 7, 1957 she married Leo Singleton.
She worked for Proctor and Gamble for over forty years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. She enjoyed fishing and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Leo Singleton; one sister, Bobbie Hill; one nephew; two nieces; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Leon Walker.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the J. E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the J. E. Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis with Rev. Kenneth Cashion officiating.
Interment will follow in Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
