Cynthia Ruiz, 40, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Monday, July 18, 2016.
Cynthia was born July 10, 1976 to Gabino Jr. and Margarita (Ramirez) Herrera in Robstown, Texas.
She and her family moved to Ennis in 1987 and she attended Ennis High School and graduated with the class of 1995.
She worked many years as a housekeeper, but also worked for Wal-mart and Legend Oaks here in Ennis. Cynthia attended St. John’s Catholic Church and often enjoyed doing crafts of many kinds.
Cynthia will be missed by all who knew her and her memory will be cherished by her family including her son, Jacob Ruiz; daughters, Miranda Ruiz, Sara Ruiz, and Samantha Ruiz; mother, Margarita Herrera; brothers, Albert Herrera, Steven Herrera; grandmother, Silvestra Ramirez.
She is preceded in death by her father, Gabino Herrera, and three grandparents.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 6 pm until 8 pm with the Rosary at 7 pm in J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.
Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church of Ennis, Texas with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
