Ramon M. Rodriguez, age 82, passed away in Ennis on May 22, 2016. He was born in Coleman, Texas, on October 21, 1933, to Antonio and Andrea (Munoz) Rodriguez. He was employed for more than 20 years by the City of Ennis where he was known as “cry baby.” He was as member of Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church.
He is survived by four children, Raymond Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Sylvia G., Jesse C. Rodriguez, Diane Flores and husband Jorge, Nancy Andrea Hernandez and husband Jaime; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; two brothers, Benjamin Rodriguez, Cruz Colunga; one sister, Lidia Colunga.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe Rodriguez; son, Benjamin C. Rodriguez, Sr. and daughter, Annette Rodriguez.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thusday, May 26, 2016, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, 2016, at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Ennis. Interment will be in Saint Joseph Cemetery in Ennis.
